Problem
Because of a machining error, the bearing fitting of this connecting rod is 0.03 mm out of tolerance.
Given the delivery time, casting a new connecting rod is not an option.

Solution
Revamo repaired the bearing fitting of this new connecting rod by flame spraying and boring. At the final inspection, a penetrant crack test was carried out.
